It a long read, and not put together well
But "Development of Doctrine ” it is
~{2Peter 2:1}~
But there were false prophets also among the people,
even as there shall be false teachers among you,
who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them,
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways
by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words
make merchandise of you:
~{2Cor.11:13}~
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also
be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;
whose end shall be according to their works.

”The spirit of Iniquity doth already work”
Jude says they are in the church now,
John says they are in the “Ephesian Church” in his day
They {anti-christ} went out from us,

for if they had been of us,
they would no doubt have continued with us:
but they went out, that they might be
made manifest
that they were not all of us.
These things have I written unto you
concerning them that seduce you
Irenaeus said the following in Against Heresies (Book 3, Chapter 1)
"We have learned from none others the plan of our salvation, than from those through whom the Gospel has come down to us,
which they did at one time proclaim in public, and, at a later period, by the will of God,
handed down to us in the Scrip-tures, to be the ground and pillar of our faith."
In Chapter 2, he goes on to show how the Gnostics devalue those Scriptures:
"When, however, they are confuted from the Scriptures, they turn round and accuse these same Scriptures,
as if they were not correct, nor of authority, and [assert] that they are ambiguous,
and that the truth cannot be extracted from them by those who are ignorant of tradition.
For [they allege] that the truth was not delivered by means of written documents,
but viva voce...".
The gospel was handed down to us through the scriptures,
not through a supreme authority
that would rule over the church and hand down a gospel
far different from that which was preached by the Apostles.
