My new multi band dipole
2 Attachment(s)
This is the beggining of my new 10-80 meter multiband dipole.
The antenna is all connected and now have to get some spacer material. Think I will use 1/4 or 5/16 " fiberglass rods. Thanks to the great guy's at www.qrz.com for their help. |
Work?
Have you used the antenna since your last post? What is your report on the antenna?

Which one?
I built so many in the last month it is hard to keep up with, This one loads from 10 to 80 plus in between with great success. Using a tuner on the odd bands. If you view the thread called "my shack" you can see it up. It is in a bicycle wheel configuration. |
I built a six meter dipole that had a similar design to that except I used copper tubing and had it mounted on a flat piece of wood

Buddy I am useing a homebrew multiwire dipole that was made by a ham and used and then he gave it to me when I got my license. I it was kinda mesed up and I had to do some work on it. PVC was used as spreaders to keep the wire apart. It works well but it ain't purty. I like it a lot and its only up 25 feet. I want to get it up higher as soon as I can. Yours should work well. have you got it up yet?
