Got lucky today
 

I finally found a 6 meter moduel for my Yaesu FT-726r.
I saw this on ebay first of the week with a buy it now price of 225. Then got busy and forgot about it. Looked at it yesterday and reserve was met so the buy it now was gone. I was thinking it would hit around 300 or so. The current price was at 200. So last night I summited a bid. With 3 hours to go. Checked this morning I found I won the thing for 222 dollars plus 7 bucks shipping.

Guess every one fell asleep.....

Good for you! Have you heard anything open on 6 lately. I've not had an antenna up long for 6 and have only talked local on it. What do use for an antenna on 6? I am using a home made H double bay.

Chris, I heard 6 open up a bit towards the west latley.
I use a 6 element mono bander. homebrew.

That looks real familiar now that you posted it. My brain does not always work 100%. (or even 50%). I'll have to check it a little more often.

Package arrived today. Installed in one of the 726 I have and it works great!.
Only problem is rotator stuck.
I now have 6 meter FM!!

Excellent! That's half the battle won!
