My website for my environmental problems:

I am the co-owner of an illegal dump, made before I was born. I have a helluva problem. This isn't for a hobby, or for personal contact. Only for spreading the news of this disaster on my hands. Thanx, Crazy

Holy cow Randy! That looks like it is fast becoming a very serious issue indeed, even though it is quite obviously decades in the making.

No doubt, there is a lot of info out there to help you with your plight, but I am curious...... are the former owner(s) stepping up to take care of the mess they have created? No matter how long ago or if the former owners are still in business or even alive, they are ultimately responsible and accountable.

Excuse me for being nosy, but would be interested in what is happening with you in all of this mess as a rather old, well established and successful corporation near here was hammered quite severely and financially for dumping PCBs into a creek that feeds Lake Hartwell a few decades ago now. The gub-mint takes all of this sort of stuff quite seriously and ALWAYS holds the original owners and perpetrators responsible as well as financially accountable.

If you are not getting support from the EPA and your states EPA counterparts, it's because you have not tweaked the interest of the right parties, officials or media outlets.

Nope, the property owner is fully liable once they buy the property, a law NC made last decade. :eyepop: The EPA won't help me, the site is on the Superfund list, with no more intended actions. Those responsible were supposed to clean it up back in 85, but they pulled the wool over the gov'ts eyes. All barrels were to be removed, but they weren't. I don't know what will happen now, but thanx for your interest. PLEASE, spread it around. Thank you, Crazy Randy

Load it all up one night and dump it in the previous owners front yard. :)

I wish I could help you out. Good Luck with it. Wheres Judge Judy when you need her?

The man we bought it from is dead, and I still owe his widow for the mortgage, which I pay every month. There are 2 acres of dump, but actually only about 1/2 acre of it is on me. The rest is on my aunt, and she deserves every square inch of it.

Is she aware of how her husband screwed you and your aunt?

She has absolutely no idea. And to top it off, she is in the hospital after having a stroke last week. I don't know what to do, the family estate is worth millions. I don't know what to do next. I need some legal help, from someone who is familiar with environmental pollution.

http://bryantfarmdrumdump.blogspot.com/ has gotten over 400 hits so far. I am linking it to any pollution, tire or otherwise story in my hometown. It can't hurt. This weekend I am going to start posting documents that the gov't has given me. That ought to bring the interest up.

Thanx, Randy
