FAKE FRIENDS: Never ask for food.

REAL FRIENDS: Are the reason you have no food.


FAKE FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr/Mrs

REAL FRIENDS: Call your parents DAD/MOM


FAKE FRIENDS: Never seen you cry

REAL FRIENDS: Cry with you


FAKE FRIENDS: Borrow your stuff for a few days then give it back

REAL FRIENDS: Keep your stuff so long they forget it's yours


FAKE FRIENDS: Know a few things about you

REAL FRIENDS: Could write a book about you with direct quotes from you


FAKE FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that is what the crowd is doing

REAL FRIENDS : Will kick the whole crowds butt that left you


FAKE FRIENDS: Would knock on your front door

REAL FRIENDS: Walk right in and say 'I'M HOME!'


FAKE FRIENDS: Are for awhile

REAL FRIENDS: Are for life


FAKE FRIENDS: Will talk bad to the person who talks bad about you.

REAL FRIENDS: Will knock the person out that talked bad about you

REAL FRIENDS: Will send this to all their real friends and hope to get it back!


If you were killed today, I'm sorry I wouldn't be able to come to your funeral, because I'd be in jail for killing the person who did it.

I received this in text message format about a year ago, still amusing.
I only have real friends, they are my manifestations. :arf2:

I was out of circulation for 2 years, and I found out who my real friends were. No big surprises, really, but just something I can't afford to forget. Of course, Buddy was there for me when I left, and when I got back. Not too many were though. :th_Smile-KnockKnock

I won't make a big, long tear jerking thread out of this, but I did have some real surprises. People who I covered for when I went in the pen, didn't even help my wife and children when they needed it most. But that part of my life is over, never to return again. What really hurts is folks that don't trust me now, though they admit I have given them no reason not to. :th_Smile-KnockKnock Count your true friends on one hand, with fingers left over. No matter who you are. ;)

FAKE FRIENDS: Bail you out of jail.

REAL FRIENDS: Are in there with you and usually say something like, "Damn, that was fun!", when the door closes behind you both.
