Default Restore those metal can capacitors

You ever have them had to find metal can capacitors go bad?
Here is a solution I can up with years ago to keep the unit stock looking.

Cut the capacitor even at the base. This is where it steps from small to big.
Remove all the insides and tar around the bottom.

You will need 4 10uf at 450 volts.

In this case this is a 10uf times 4 at 450 volts.
Arange capacitors as shown in picture 2.
Solder all grounds together.

You can see how the capacitors fit right into the can.

In picture 3 solder the positive leads to pin base.

Picture 4 shows the ground in installed. These case are aluminum so you can not solder the ground to it. Simply drill a small hole near on of the base legs and run hook up wire through it. Solder to leg
