Default Ic 756pro3

I have had the pro3 for around a month now and I love it!
I bought the pro3 to use as my main base rig and moved the 7000 to backup, as well as my primary vhf/uhf rig. The pro3 has everything I love about the 7000 plus more, sweet. Unlike the 7000 the scope on the pro3 is real time, and makes no funny noises. My two favorite features about the pro3 are the muti function meter and the mini scope. Adjustable eq and transmit band pass are awesome, as is the dsp. Oh and Im new to the cw seen but let me tell you it sounds even sweeter on this rig. You also have a multitude of dispaly settings to choose from to stop the boredom(I like the one that makes the scope look like fire ). Id tell you more but Im still learning.

So far I have no complaints what so ever!!
But I will still only give it a 4.9 out of 5 and thats as high as I will go unless its a voting system that gives me no other option.

Smile Wait until you try the 7700

Congrats on the PROIII. Indeed it's a fine radio. Lots of folks sold theirs when they bought a 7800 or 7700. I got a 7700 back in April, but I don't see parting with my PROIII. Since the PROIII is only 20lbs, sometimes I take it, and my buddistick out to the park and use it portable. Unfortunately, the 7700 is too heavy to tote around like that.

Enjoy your PROIII, terry-ae5eh
