Default Anybody know where to find information on dayton Tillers?

I bought an old one for cheap, and now I know why it was so cheap. I think the company went out of business and parts are hard to find. I need to get a belt, but I'm not sure what size.
I tried googling it and came up empty.

Is it an old V-style belt, or a serpentine?(not likely).

Measure around the pulleys with a piece of string, then measure it. You can cross them up at any automotive store. If it doesn't fit, you know which way to go, and they will exchange it. I have done this more than once, on mowers, and it should work on a tiller too. What brand of engine? Tecumseh, or B & S?

5 hp B&S. V-belt. Paid $50 for it thinking hey if I only used it once it paid for itself. It would cost about that much to rent one for a day. Can't find an air filter to fit it either. Live and learn.

I'm sure you'll find something or at least something that will suffice. They have emergency one size fits all belts and aircleaners are easy to modify or build. Have Faith brother. LOL
