Alright, don't ask me why, the story is too long...

anyone remember the name of that little green martian guy on the Flintstones?

He popped in and out and caused trouble with Fred and Barney...


I tried the Net and didn't come up with anything...?

I know I'm not dreaming this...there was a martian charater on a few episodes one season a LONG time ago...?

Dear Lora:
In the sixth and final season of that modern stone-age cartoon, a tiny green guy started talking to pals Fred and Barney. This alien was invisible to other adults, and he gave questionable advice to the two "dum-dums."
The alien's name was the Great Gazoo. He was kicked off his planet of Zetox because he invented a potentially universe-destroying weapon. Gazoo's punishment was exile on prehistoric Earth where he served penance and made occasional reports to his leader, the Great Gazam.

During the little green guy's brief run from 1965 to 1966, he was voiced by comedic actor Harvey Korman. Gazoo appeared in at least seven episodes of "The Flintstones," although some fans felt that injecting an alien into caveman times helped the show jump the shark.

The Great Gazoo had a role in one of the Flintstones movies, but we can only speculate on his post-prehistoric adventures.
