Learning tips
First thing, "Glad to find this forum".....I will soon be 60 (in Aug) I'am having a little trouble learning the code. While not being a real talker, I think code is a great way to communicate. I have been using AA9PW's web page for practice, but it seems like I'am having the most trouble on four digit letters (f,l,q,p,z,x,etc..) Any tips on studing and mastery of the code for a new/old ham would be much appreciated. .-.-.

Hi ans welcome to the forum.
I would suggest the G4fon program.. It is great and you can practice off line by using your pc. It is located here on our site: http://www.gokarters.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=1833 Give it a try |

Gotta agree with Buddy on that one. I like CW, I really do, but it just doesn't seem to like me very much. G4FON's program really is great though. I think if I had not been pointed in it's direction a couple of years ago, I would have just let it die.
Oh, and welcome Garrett, I am just up the road from you in Anderson.
