Just for me I need prayer

I have been thinking of my father lately who has passed away three years ago, well he was not saved so a man I grew to love and admire in the last few years of his life (as we did not get along at all) I will never be able to see again this hurts alot. Well for years I was not saved either but in my family I was raised that you did not talk of such things you know it was an old school German family Children where seen and not heard.. Yeah it rips me to bits every time I see his flag on top of the TV Armoire(s/p) I see it every day and the last image I have of my father is him lying in his hospital bed after his stroke not even able to open his eyes. He could hear me and I asked him to make peace with God so I would see him in heaven But I do not know if he did as he could not speak or open his eyes. This troubles me GREATLY How could I let him MY FATHER slip through my fingers like that maybe this is the lesson God has been trying to teach me as things have not been so hot for Tosha (my wife) and myself over the last year or so maybe I am not being the witness for HIM I need to be how many other fathers have I let die and I could have been the one to plant the seed of salvation... I know this is rambling but in talking with a friend of mine who is about to hit the one year anniv. of her mothers passing it brought up alot of emotion and I knew I needed prayers.

The burden of salvation is not on your shoulders.
It's on GOD's shoulders, and I have a feeling His shoulders are REAL BIG.

You can't judge a book by it's cover. You really don't know what was in your father's heart no matter how stubborn he may have appeared.

Take the burden off of yourself and know that it is GOD who provides what is needed for each individual to be saved.

I think we have all had doubts at times that maybe we did not do enough.
It's a heavy burden and I will pray for your peace of mind.
God's will will be done despite anything we do or don't do.

I know how you feel brother as when my father in law was on his death bed that was what happened with him.9 and me as I had tried to minister to him many times. he was a atheist.

But Sissy is right and be at peace God is greater than anything.

I too will be praying.

I had a talk with one of the guys who is going through a similar problem and we found that we had pretty much the same solution that we are NOT being the best possible witness that we can be for God so we decided to work on it together so we will both come out on top kinda like a support system for each other or maybe even a keep you in check system for each other. So gee in a way I guess there is a praise involved already That God has shown me another with the same things going on as myself.. ANYWHO enough of the rambling Thank you guys for your words and Prayers and of course as always Thank You Almighty GOD for finally showing me what was up.
