Dont get me wrong. I do not care for the sale of freebanders radio's but wow is all I can say about this. Man there are really some opinions on that topic.

Why do you see so much of the freeband radios now? Because the free banders are using Yaesu's, Icoms, and Kenwoods now. Thats right, they are upgrading from the junk.

And how many times have you walked by a private vehicle, that is owned by a firefighter, and see a ham radio mounted to the dash board???

And the HR2510 and 2600 were decent radios. But added to the Fcc list and now we can not buy them.

But the Fcc makes the rules and we have to follow them. So I can live with that....
